Thankful Day 30 - Last Day - Desserts!

Today I'm thankful for sweets! I have a HUGE sweet tooth and I live for ice cream or baked treats! I love having the ability to have a sweet thing daily.

That ends my thankfulness challenge! I am so blessed and I'm truly thankful for more than 30 things. I will continue to thank God for my blessings and life throughout the years!

Thankful Day 29 - Quotes and Words of Encouragement!

Today I'm thankful for quotes and words of encouragement!

I love quotes... I could read them all day long and write them all down to keep through out the week, months, and even years! I like to share quotes from time to time and this one is perfect for my season right now. At the end of the day it's about being with people you love and who love you! At the end of the day it's about no stress and it's about love. At the end of the day it's about knowing truth and not gossip. At the end of the day it's about being happy!

Thankful Day 28 - Health

Today I'm thankful for my health and my families health. I was reading a girls' blog that I went to high school with and hearing about what she has gone through in 10 years of graduating with a miscarriage, death of a family member, getting cancer, and the death of a child; I set crying and reading her blog to David thinking about how truly blessed that we are. I was thinking about her great faith in times of trouble and that she is still steadfast in holding on to God's Plan for her life. I was taken back on her outlook in life after going through years of storms. I think too many times in this life we are so worried about things that mean nothing and we will die on hills that really are issues that are size of grains of sand. I thank God that my so called "trials" of this life have been nothing more than specs of sadness in the scheme of things. I pray that daily I will remember how fortunate I am and how great it is to have the health I have.

This girl that wrote this blog would not remember me from high school, more than likely, but I will be forever changed by her heart and story!

Thankful Week- Catch Up Time

I have been busy with the Thanksgiving Holiday so I have slacked on my thankful days.... here is the catch up! :)

Day 27 - Today I'm thankful for TV shows. Every night David and I watch a show before bed. This is a time for us to cuddle on the couch and laugh with Big Bang or How I Met Your Mother or see who murdered who in CSI or NCIS!

Day 26- Today I'm thankful for naps! I thankful that every Saturday after Black Friday I take one! This year David, Barley and I slept for two hours! (after the OU game and before Tech)

Day 25- Today I'm thankful for my FAVORITE DAY OF EVERY YEAR.... BLACK Friday! I get so excited that I can't sleep the night before. I am pumped for this day every year and it by far is the greatest day ever thought up by department stores..... I get close to losing my Christianity in the lines, but I think Jesus would have hit the lady that run us over in the shopping cart this year as well!

Day 24- I'm thankful for Thanksgiving Day! The food, fellowship, & fun! I'm also thankful that my uncle, aunt and favorite cousin got to come to Lubbock again! The holiday is always great with them here! Here is a picture of me with my Uncle Jerry and my Dad!

Day 24- I'm thankful for the Thanksgiving break. A time to relax, refresh, and spend time with my great family!

Day 23- I'm thankful for snowmen! I LOVE SNOWMEN! I'm also thankful that all my Christmas stuff is out and on display!

Day 22- I'm thankful for laughter! I'm thankful for fun times and funny moments with the people I love the most in life!

Day 21 - I'm thankful for my favorite website now PINTEREST! I love this website, it brightens my day with humor and gives me great ideas for dinner and crafts! Check it out!

Thankful Day 20 - Home Group

Today I'm thankful for my Home Group. I have been blessed to be apart of great Home Groups that have allowed me to make friendships that will forever change my life. I love having a group of people to hang out with and walk through life with! We are blessed in our home group to have awesome leadership with the Randles and I am so glad that we have been able to share this season of life with this group!

Thankful Day 19 - Shelter & A Home of Memories

Today I'm thankful for the wonderful homes that I have been able to leave in. I have only lived in 2 homes for my entire life, the rest have been college apartments and the before marrying David apartment. I'm thankful for the shelter that my homes have given me and I'm thankful for the long time memories that I have made in these homes!

My childhood home in Arkansas. The only green brick house I have ever seen! This was the only house I remember and it has so many wonderful memories for me. I still some times drive by my old house when I'm in Arkansas.

David and my home! We are truly blessed to be newlyweds and have such a nice house. It's big enough for the two of us and this house has so many memories for me from meeting David to marrying David and it becoming my home!

Thankful Day 18 - Weekends!

Today I'm thankful for weekends! A time to refresh and renew. A time to shop and save money (bargain hunting). A time to enjoy nights with friends or date nights with the hubby. Afternoons to play nerts or nap. Mornings to clean or be completely lazy! A time to go to church and be encouraged about the week ahead! I LOVE WEEKENDS! I'm thankful for Saturday & Sunday!

Thankful Day 17th - My Job

I'm super blessed to have the job that I have! I have been working with Blue Ocean for 4 years in April and it has been such a great blessing to me! I started out working with my boss Bruce and now we have grown to a great group of 11. My work challenges me to learn new things and step out of my comfort zone to grow! I love the people I work with and I'm truly lucky to have this job! Thankful for work!

Thankful Day 16th - My Parents

Thankful Day 16! Today I'm thankful for my parents! I have the hardest worker for a Dad. I love the fact that he still helps me hang clocks and will be there no matter what! I can always count on him and he is always so happy to help! I love you Dad! I'm thankful for my mom, she has been a great supporter through my life and she always is there to hang out and run errands with me so I don't have to go alone! (little but means a lot)

I'm glad that we all live so close that we can hang out weekly! It's not the materialistic things in life that make a difference, it's the people you share your days with that make the difference!

A couple weeks ago my sister and her husband went out of town and that meant that I got some kid time! We shopped for items for shoeboxes for kids for Christmas, watched movies, played nerts, played bingo, ate pizza, corn maze adventures, went to Pei Wei, and had a great time together. Thankful Day 15 - NERTS!

The night before I moved to Lubbock the four - Kallie, Kinlee, Ashleigh & Me hung out and started playing a game that Ash or Kallie taught us called Nerts. I was suppose to wake up at 6:30 - 7:00 and leave to move to Lubbock and start my 9 hour drive to the Lone Star state. We ended up playing nerts from like 9 that night till 3 in the morning. I woke up and left (a little tired) but ever since then Nerts has been our game we play on Girls' Trips and Get Togethers in Arkansas!

This year I taught my nieces, sister and mom to play. We play almost every weekend!

Today I'm thankful for Nerts and the bond that my friends and family now have through this game! I love playing and spending time with the people I love, especially when we are playing Nerts!

Thankful Day 14 - DIET COKE

Today is a very important thankful day. Today I'm thinking something that is with me daily. Something that gets me going between happy hour every day. My life line for work and children's choir. The reason that I'm outgoing. The love of my stomach and throat. The very best thing about my afternoons!

Today I'm thankful for DIET COKE! I LOVE YOU MY FRIEND! I'm enjoying my Route 44 right now from United and I will look forward to sharing tomorrow afternoon with you once again!

Thankful Day 13- My Church - Victory Life

Today I'm thankful for my church. I thankful for the friends that I have been able to make, the ministries that I'm apart of, and the lessons and things I learn every Sunday to make me a better wife, friend, coworker and christian! I'm super lucky to belong to such a great place with great people!

Thankful Day 12 - Weekends

Today I'm thankful for Weekends! I thankful that I have weekends off and that I'm able to go out to run errands, watch football games, craft, play games, go to lunch or whatever during the weekend! I'm blessed to have time off and spend it with people I love!

Thankful Day 11 - Veterans - THANK YOU!

Today I'm thankful for all the Veterans who served and who are serving to allow me to enjoy the freedoms that I have. I'm proud to be an American and I'm thankful for all the sacrifices that were made for everyone in this country.

Thankful Day 10 - Crafts!

Today I'm thankful for crafts! They bring such a joy to me and they allow me to have awesome girls' nights! Without crafts, I would probably have more money and time but that wouldn't be as fun!

My new love is to sew blankets for friends that are having babies.... here is my latest project!

Thankful Day 9 - True Friends!

God has blessed me with AMAZING friends that I have been able to have in my life. I have the kind of friends that are life long and I'm extremely grateful! I value our friendships and they know that if they needed anything, ever, I would be there! Thanks for Friends!
