Tomorrow will be our last Upward Game for 2010. The girls did great and Steph and I suprisingly survived without too many cheer mistakes. (I say that because no one watched us to tell us otherwise.)

Picture Update in October

Day 59 - October 29, 2010 - I LOVE FALL! I have never decorated for fall so I went and bought something to start a fall collection. I also had to buy a pumpkin, because every year my Grandpa Copeland would come to Arkansas for my Mom's birthday and when he came we would go to the pumpkin patch and get a pumpkin, apples, & apple cider. One year Grandpa and I went and I got skittles and he got an apple on the way back he taught me what flavor the red skittle was and when he was done with his apple he went to throw it out my window at a red light and missed and it hit me in the head! Every time I think about pumpkins and pick out a pumpkin I think about the fun we use to have at the pumpkin patch.

Day 58 - October 28, 2010 - Annual Family Picture Day - Now that I live in Lubbock and our family is all together we like to take family pictures together to have and for Christmas cards. Sadly Dad was out of town taking care of my Grandpa after he broke his hip so it was just the Jurkovich family and the Green family with our son Barley! :) I will post pictures soon, they are always SO great because we use the fabulous Heather Witt! Here is a sneak peek of one of the Jurkovich outfits!

Day 57 - October 27, 2010 - My dinner dates, Carter & Caroline. We went to Fazolis before Children's Choir and Wednesday Night activities. It was great listening to their thoughts. Carter told me he wanted to be a Pastor or a Missionary. When I asked where he would like to be a missionary at he said some where they don't go to jail but still need to know about Jesus. Super caring and smart kid. Caroline taught me about marriage... it was a great dinner!

Day 56 - October 26, 2010 - Watching Biggest Loser and cuddling on the couch with little Snoogie! Tonight was also the last practice for Upward Cheerleading!

Cassidy's Room is Complete!!!

For Christmas 2009 Cassidy wanted her room redone for her Christmas present. Memaw bought her her zebra bed spread and Steph and I bought her some wall decor for her future room. Around Spring Break we bought all the paint for her room since she wanted a bubble gum pink, black & white stripped wall. We completed the wall and the hung all the decor. Cassidy wanted some pillows made for her bed and window seat so I asked David's sister (who was 7 months or more pregnant at the time) if see might have time to make some. I was SHOCKED when she made like 10 pillows in less than a months time, with all that she had going on getting ready for her second daughter.
Tonight was a special night because we finally put everything together perfectly with the new pillows. Cassidy loves her room and it was a great experience getting it all done. We learned a lot during this process and are looking forward to the remodeling or Carter & Caroline/Catherine's room in like 10 years! :)

Cassidy's pink, black & white wall with her bed that has all of her pillows. Also notice her name on the wall, we used scrapbook paper to decorate the letters to match her room.

Pillows laid in a different way! Super cute and fun to make the bed everyday with a million pillows.

Close up of the window seat.

Full on view of the window seat.

Cassidy's desk and decor... desk is a little messy, but it's really cute.

The wall that is right by her door.

Above her dresser. All we have left to do is paint her dresser black.

Wall into her bathroom area.

Cute Bug above her bathroom area.

Wall next to her sink in her bathroom.

50 days of pictures already???

Day 55- October 25, 2010 - Time to carve pumpkins! Here are my beautiful nieces and sister carving the pumpkins that they picked out at the pumpkin patch... Steph is now cooking the pumpkin seeds.
Day 54- October 24, 2010 - I'm extremely blessed! I have been able to teach children's choir for around 5 years but currently 2 years at Victory Life! My Wee Worship kids sang on Sunday "I am a Promise" they were so great. What's even more great is to know that they are a promise and that God has created them to be special and different and to all have a purpose for his glory!

Day 53- After shopping and getting great deals at Macy's for our upcoming family pictures we stopped for a late lunch before heading back to Lubbock... we wanted to get back for the OU game... Yep we should have gone to Garden Ridge and another Mall

Day 52 - October 22, 2010 - For Mom's birthday the girls (Mom, Steph & Me) went to Dallas to shop for Friday and Saturday! We had a SUPER time and had some great highlights with this trip! My favorite highlights were: 1) Driving down Woodrow Road at 6 in the morning after a rain storm and the streets were flooded so we spent 45 minutes on that road to "try to save time" Ha! 2) Trying to find La Madeline in Frisco, that we had driven by that day 6 times and literally couldn't find it so instead of going to Cheesecake Factory again we found the restaurant 1 hour later... After calling 411, after calling the restaurant & and stopping and asking for directions. Sad thing was we had 2 I-Phones and a Tom-Tom.... We are that talented! :) 3) Steph a couple of weeks ago locked her keys in the car in Lubbock so this time every time we got out of the car we all checked for the keys by asking "Do you have the keys?". We stopped in Sweetwater, TX to fill up with gas at the most ghetto gas station known to man. I walk out of the gas station and Steph is about to go in, I tell her that I will stay with her purse and the car, so she shuts the door to go inside the to the bathroom, as she is about to leave I ask her to unlock my door first... At that moment we realize that she had hit lock on the doors and set her purse back in the car so I could watch it. We laughed... because both of our purses were now locked in the car without a phone! Highlight we were able to meet David, the man that came to our rescue, and we were able to pay for him and his wife's dinner that evening.

Day 51 - October 21, 2010 - Family Birthday Celebration Time... here the kids are posing with Memaw like they always do for her birthday picture. 2 years ago they were posing with a broken Memaw who had just had knee surgery. We are so glad that the walker is not present in this picture.

Day 50 - October 20, 2010 - Mom is helping me this semester in Children's Choir so the kids and I surprised her with cards and cupcakes for her birthday! They were terrific!

Day 49 - Upward Cheerleading practice. Since Steph and I were going to be out of town for the Upward game Abbie and Cassidy were the new coaches. We made the cheerleaders teach them the cheers and help them with their dance moves!

Day 48 - Craft Night... Monday night the Yankees and the Rangers were playing and so David and I invited Teryn and Vince over for some free wings from Wing Stop and to watch the game. Before we ate Teryn and I went to Hobby Lobby and to Michaels so that "Watching the Game" for us would be craft time. We tried putting letter on glass using my criket and some cool ice looking glue but it didn't work out like we had seen in pictures. We also worked on some frames one for my mom for her birthday which is above. At least that worked out well.

Day 47 - October 17, 2010 - Sunday Lunch - I had the Jurkovich Family and Mom and Dad over for Sunday lunch for Stuffed Peppers, Homemade Pico and Guacamole, Cheese Dip, Corn & Fruit! It was a great time!

Day 46 - October 16 2010 - Picture Day! Upward had picture day in the wonderful West Texas Wind. We had a great game, the cheerleaders did their dance PERFECTLY and cheered with lots of spirit! I can't believe we only have 2 more games.

Day 45 - October 15, 2010 - Grandfriend's Day! Every year Cooper West has a Grandfriend's day were Aunts, Uncles, Grandparents, Cousins or whoever can come up to the school and eat with their student! Catherine and I had a great Jimmy John's lunch and a great time at the Book Fair!

Day 38 - October 8, 2010 - Steph, Brad and I went to a lady's house that had puppies for sale. Little did we know that she had 8 puppies and over 40 dogs IN her house... you had to watch your step for numerous things.... this puppy was one of my favorites!

Day 37 - October 7, 2010 - One of David and I's favorite place to eat is Sazons. I guess we eat there so much that they thought they should say thank you with sour cream.

Day 36 - October 6, 2010 - David's Sister had her baby in Minnesota so Martin and Glenda have been out of town throughout September and October, here is who we get to watch. They are ready for treats....

Day 35- October 5, 2010 - All of the girls in my family went to Clay Cafe for my birthday to paint pottery. Steph and I wanted plates to use at every occasion so we decide to spend almost 3 hours making wonderful plates for our next big event. After 3 coats of paint we asked the lady to write "celebrate" in the middle. We wrote "celebrate" out for her on a piece of paper with the color that we wanted as well. Steph picked up the plates and this evening we got our out. Steph was me hers and I didn't notice anything since she has polka dots in the middle. We then got my plate out and noticed something wrong on my 3 hours of work.... I guess some people like to Celebrate by spelling Celebrate.... CELABRATE! Seriously... really.... WOW, Super!
