Missions - 4:10 - Christmas Missions

Our church has an AWESOME program named Praise 4:10. It's a program with children's choir and a missions program. Our kids have learned SO much through missions and it's been a blast to be apart of!

For Christmas we went to the Children's' Hospital in Lubbock and put up a tree in their play room and provided gifts for all the kids! It was a great night!

It was a great night! Thanks to all the teachers in Praise 4:10 it was a great memory made and lesson learned in service for others!

40 Reasons Why I Have the Best Sister in the World!

This week is a very special week for my sister, it's her 40th birthday! We threw her a friend party this week, a children's choir party, and we have great things planned for tomorrow for her actual birthday. Since this is such a special birthday I thought I would list 40 reasons why I love my sister:

Thankful Day 30 - Last Day - Desserts!

Today I'm thankful for sweets! I have a HUGE sweet tooth and I live for ice cream or baked treats! I love having the ability to have a sweet thing daily.

That ends my thankfulness challenge! I am so blessed and I'm truly thankful for more than 30 things. I will continue to thank God for my blessings and life throughout the years!

Thankful Day 29 - Quotes and Words of Encouragement!

Today I'm thankful for quotes and words of encouragement!

I love quotes... I could read them all day long and write them all down to keep through out the week, months, and even years! I like to share quotes from time to time and this one is perfect for my season right now. At the end of the day it's about being with people you love and who love you! At the end of the day it's about no stress and it's about love. At the end of the day it's about knowing truth and not gossip. At the end of the day it's about being happy!

Thankful Day 28 - Health

Today I'm thankful for my health and my families health. I was reading a girls' blog that I went to high school with and hearing about what she has gone through in 10 years of graduating with a miscarriage, death of a family member, getting cancer, and the death of a child; I set crying and reading her blog to David thinking about how truly blessed that we are. I was thinking about her great faith in times of trouble and that she is still steadfast in holding on to God's Plan for her life. I was taken back on her outlook in life after going through years of storms. I think too many times in this life we are so worried about things that mean nothing and we will die on hills that really are issues that are size of grains of sand. I thank God that my so called "trials" of this life have been nothing more than specs of sadness in the scheme of things. I pray that daily I will remember how fortunate I am and how great it is to have the health I have.

This girl that wrote this blog would not remember me from high school, more than likely, but I will be forever changed by her heart and story!

Thankful Week- Catch Up Time

I have been busy with the Thanksgiving Holiday so I have slacked on my thankful days.... here is the catch up! :)

Day 27 - Today I'm thankful for TV shows. Every night David and I watch a show before bed. This is a time for us to cuddle on the couch and laugh with Big Bang or How I Met Your Mother or see who murdered who in CSI or NCIS!

Day 26- Today I'm thankful for naps! I thankful that every Saturday after Black Friday I take one! This year David, Barley and I slept for two hours! (after the OU game and before Tech)

Day 25- Today I'm thankful for my FAVORITE DAY OF EVERY YEAR.... BLACK Friday! I get so excited that I can't sleep the night before. I am pumped for this day every year and it by far is the greatest day ever thought up by department stores..... I get close to losing my Christianity in the lines, but I think Jesus would have hit the lady that run us over in the shopping cart this year as well!

Day 24- I'm thankful for Thanksgiving Day! The food, fellowship, & fun! I'm also thankful that my uncle, aunt and favorite cousin got to come to Lubbock again! The holiday is always great with them here! Here is a picture of me with my Uncle Jerry and my Dad!

Day 24- I'm thankful for the Thanksgiving break. A time to relax, refresh, and spend time with my great family!

Day 23- I'm thankful for snowmen! I LOVE SNOWMEN! I'm also thankful that all my Christmas stuff is out and on display!

Day 22- I'm thankful for laughter! I'm thankful for fun times and funny moments with the people I love the most in life!

Day 21 - I'm thankful for my favorite website now PINTEREST! I love this website, it brightens my day with humor and gives me great ideas for dinner and crafts! Check it out!

Thankful Day 20 - Home Group

Today I'm thankful for my Home Group. I have been blessed to be apart of great Home Groups that have allowed me to make friendships that will forever change my life. I love having a group of people to hang out with and walk through life with! We are blessed in our home group to have awesome leadership with the Randles and I am so glad that we have been able to share this season of life with this group!
